DAYTON, Ohio & NEW YORK (BUSINESS WIRE) August 1, 2005 ─ LexisNexis U.S., a leading provider of news, business and legal information services, and Critical Mention, a leading Web-based TV search and broadcast monitoring service, today announced an alliance to deliver searchable video and print news clips in one convenient and cost-effective solution via LexisNexis AlaCarte!™.
The LexisNexis AlaCarte! service is a pay-as-you-go online information solution for small-to medium-sized businesses and independent professionals. In late summer of this year, LexisNexis AlaCarte! users will be able to search television clips and view streaming video from leading TV news providers, greatly enhancing users’ ability to monitor news and trends affecting their companies, their clients or competitors. In addition, a “send to a colleague” function will allow users to send links to TV video clips for viewing.
